I’ve hung the missing posters –

stapled them to light poles.

Only the wind answers back

in haughty undertones.

Fool, it huffs, as it slaps my face,

Humanity is a runaway.

No use looking.

No one cares.

In this desolate terrain,

you’ll be soul searching in vain.

United States ranks 50 out of 55 developed countries in healthcare efficiency, life expectancy, and healthcare spending per capita (Bloomberg). Our senators and congressmen are covered under government health plans for life, yet they quibble about offering the sickest and poorest children the right to the same quality of care. Where are these people’s souls? I certainly can’t find them.

This recipe calls for 4 staples that I keep on hand. Honey, lemon juice, parsley  and soy sauce. Because I keep them on hand I have found many dishes that calls for those ingredients. These items are easily found at local stores in small inexpensive sizes.  I store the lemon juice in the refrigerator after it has been open. Since I drink ice tea during the summer months. When the cat was close enough to pounce, the corgi said, “Wow, that was one delicious leopard! I wonder if there are any more around here?”

Hearing this, the leopard immediately halted his attack and retreated into the jungle. “Whew, that was close,” said the leopard. “That dog nearly got me.”

A monkey who had witnessed the whole encounter from a nearby tree figured that he could put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection. So he went after the leopard, and when…

I Have No More Words

What is going on in the world?

Every day, I wake up to tragic news.

My heart is broken for all the lives lost.

For all those who have suffered and are suffering.

I don’t know what else to say.

I have no more words.
